Pune: 22 Vehicles Vandalized In Pimple Saudagar, Rahatani Areas Of PCMC
Pimpri Chinchwad, 1st January 2023: 20 to 22 vehicles have been vandalized by an unknown group in the Pimple Saudagar and Rahatani area of Pimpri Chinchwad city.
The police have said that the vehicles were vandalized with koytas (steel knives) and cement blocks. The policeman who went to stop the gang was pushed by unknown persons, and they fled in an autorickshaw.
A total of 20 to 22 vehicles were vandalized at Rahatani and Pimple Saudagar, which are within the limits of Sangvi and Wakad police stations. As it was 31st December on Saturday, there were more than one and a half thousand police present in the city. However, an unknown gang of four to five people came in an autorickshaw and targeted the two-wheelers and four-wheelers and vandalized the vehicles with blunt objects including cement blocks.
Police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
