Pune: 28-Year-Old Man Dies In Accident At Berger Paint Factory

Pune, 1st January 2023: A young person died in an accident at the Berger Paints factory at Jejuri MIDC in the Purandar taluka on Saturday night. Some youngsters have been injured.

Iron balls are twisted in the boiler at the Berger Paints factory to break up powder into tiny particles. The incident was caused by one of the balls flying outdoors. In the accident, a wall also collapsed.

Rohit Jayawantrao Mane (28) from Rakh village in Purandar taluka has been identified as the deceased. A police complaint has not been filed. However, the incident has been confirmed by the Jejuri police.

Rohit came from a very impoverished family and had only recently started working for the company.
