Pune: 32nd Annual Conference of POGS on the theme Critical Care in OBGYN
Pune 7 December 2023 :Pune Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society (POGS) organised it’s 32nd annual conference at Symbiosis Vishwa bhavan . The theme of the two day scientific conference was Critical Care in OBGYN . The two day scientific conference dwelled into various topics related to high risk pregnancies, their management along with obstetric drills.Esteemed National faculties delivered keynote speeches and presentations on various scientific topics related to OBGYN critical care The conference also included paper and poster competition for medical colleges .

Secretary POGS , Dr Charulata Bapaye, Clinical Secretary,Dr Archana Pungaliya,Treasurer and Dr Amol Lunkad,Joint Secretary, POGSwere present on the occasion .

Dr Meenu Agarwal, President POGS said that a POGS is a good amalgamation of academic and research programs. Science is supreme and our endeavour is to bring the latest in science to the younger generation . Although maternal deaths are on a decline, still five maternal deaths happen every hour . The topics of this conference were curated specifically to update knowledge and prevent maternal deaths.
Dr. Vaishali Chavan Hon.Secretary POGS in her welcome address said that this conference was a part of large number of academic conferences held by POGS this year.
POGS’s periodical newsletter Speculum and POGS Journal was also released on the occasion .
