Pune- 44 new cases confirmed in pune 117 in Maharashtra

Pune, 15 April 2020- On Wednesday, 117 new corona patients were confirmed in Maharashtra, of which 66 are from Mumbai and 44 are from Pune. Three patients died today in Pune. The total number of positive cases in the state has now reached 2801.

Five new corona cases have been confirmed in Dharavi, Mumbai, after which the total number of positive patients in Dharavi has reached 60, of which seven people have died so far.

 

Coronavirus Positive cases reach 44 in Pimpri Chinchwad

One more Coronavirus Positive patient has been detected in Pimpri-Chinchwad and with this, the total number of COVID19 patients has reached 44 now. One of them has died while 12 others have been cured. One patient is from Khadki who is undergoing treatment at YCM hospital.

 

Strict Curfew Being Implemented

Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Ravindra Shisve issued the orders which also include directions to keep all non-essential establishments closed including religious places as well as a ban on vehicle movement. People have to wear a mask if they are outside their homes. Only Kirana, medical store, hospital and other essential services are allowed to operate. People are not allowed to come out on road or in bylanes. Social distancing is the key to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and hence people should stay at home, the order states.

The number of Coronavirus Positive cases has reached 420 in Pune district today including 316 from areas under the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). A total of 34 people have died in Pune city till now due to this deadly virus. Since April 7, the central part of Pune from Mahrishinagar to RTO has been sealed as most cases have been detected from those areas especially Bhavani Peth and adjacent areas.
