Pune: 450 People Infected With Covid Despite Being Vaccinated With Both Doses

Pune, 26th July 2021: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has registered about 450 Coronavirus-affected citizens despite taking both doses of the vaccine.

Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar had issued orders to collect information. Accordingly, the PMC has started collecting the information since last month. Instructions were given to contact tracing teams, government, and private pathology labs to register the vaccine dose taken by the person who came for swab testing.

The PMC also issued standing orders to the labs to immediately provide the information of a person who has taken both doses and still found positive with coronavirus infection.

So far, 450 citizens have been identified who have taken both doses and are still affected by the virus infection.
