Pune: 50 kW Solar Power Plant Inaugurated at Yashwin Orizzonte, Kharadi
Kharadi, 13th October 2025: Yashwin Orizzonte A Building Cooperative Housing Society in Kharadi took a major step toward sustainable living today with the inauguration of its 50 kW solar power plant.
The ceremony was attended by MLA Bapu Saheb Pathare and Aditya Javdekar, CEO of Vilas Javdekar Developers, along with A Wing committee members and society residents.
The solar project is part of the society’s ongoing “Go Greener” initiative and was successfully implemented under the guidance of Pratik Kurjekar, Vivek Srivastava, and Rohan Birla. The system is expected to significantly reduce the building’s electricity expenses while lowering its carbon footprint, setting an example for other residential societies in the city.
Speaking at the inauguration, MLA Bapu Saheb Pathare appreciated the society’s commitment to green energy and encouraged other communities to adopt similar initiatives.
