Pune, 3rd September 2025: The Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs has launched a nationwide “Adi Karmayogi” campaign to empower tribal communities by strengthening grassroots leadership and improving delivery of government schemes. Pune marked its entry into the initiative today with a district-level orientation workshop held at the Collector’s office.

Three Pillars of Change
The campaign categorizes participants into three distinct roles:
Adi Karmayogis – government officials responsible for implementing schemes
Adi Sahayogis – teachers, doctors, professionals, and social workers who support the cause
Adi Saathis – tribal leaders, women from self-help groups, and volunteers who act as community anchors
