Wagholi, 26th February 2023: Hundreds of residents today again gathered at the Pune Municipal Corporation’s office in Wagholi to protest against the lack of proper roads, water and other amenities. The protest was organised by Team Wagholi Against Corruption (Team WACO).

The residents began the protest at 11 am and raised slogans like ‘No Water, No Road’, then ‘No Tax, No Vote’.

“The residents of Wagholi are spending huge amounts on water tankers. There have been many fatal accidents due to bad roads. However, the PMC is still collecting taxes. We organised our third protest demanding the basic amenities”, said AK Mishra, who led the protest.

PMC officer Nitin Jadhav met the residents and assured to hold meetings with senior officials for concrete measures.
