Pune, 13th May 2025: In the wake of recent India-Pakistan tensions, the central government closed 32 airports across the country for security reasons. However, with the situation easing, the government on Monday announced the reopening of all 32 airports for passenger services.

Despite this, flight operations from several airports, including Pune, have not yet returned to normal due to a lack of preparedness by airlines. As of Monday, services from Pune Airport to destinations such as Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Rajkot had not resumed. Airlines are still making arrangements, and these routes remain suspended.

The suspension of flights had disrupted air connectivity on several routes from Pune. While the government has lifted restrictions, airline companies have not yet restored services from Pune to Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Rajkot. It is expected that these services will be reinstated within the next one to two days.
