Pune airport : Multi Brand Restaurant reopened for Passengers

Pune: Now passengers at Pune airport have more option for foods items with the re-opening of the multi brand restaurants inside the terminal building.

Keshava Sharma, Regional Executive Director, Airport Authority of India (AAI) inaugurated the restaurant on Tuesday. The restaurant was closed for maintenance for past six months.

Pune airport director Ajay Kumar said that passengers can enjoy varieties of food items now. The seating capacity has been increased from 100 to 150. The bar facility will be functional after the completion of licensing requirements from state government.

At present, Bakers street, Subway, Street Food by Punjab Grill have got their counters. Other facilities such as bar and KFC will be operational in another 10 days in phased manner.

Earlier, the restaurant was set up on the first floor in a 250 square metre area. The AAI has redeveloped it in an area of 500 square metre at a cost of Rs four crore.
