Pune Airport’s Multilevel Parking Facility And Aeromall Inaugurated, Integrated Cargo Terminal To Start Soon
Pune, 25th November 2022: Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia asserted that an integrated cargo terminal will be opened at the Pune airport for passengers travelling by air as citizens from all over the country are coming to Pune.
State Higher and Technical Education Minister and District Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil, MP Girish Bapat, Vandana Chavan, MLA Sunil Tingre, and Executive Director of Airport Authority of India Anil Gupta attended the program where Scindia was speaking. Officials, passengers, and dignitaries from various fields also attended the program.
Stating that the new multi-storied parking lot equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will solve the major parking problem at Pune Airport, Minister Scindia said that everyone should make efforts to get Pune recognized globally. He stated that the new terminal, along with the Pune-Singapore air service, will be commissioned in the coming period.
Patil expressed that the airport with all the facilities will soon come into service for the people of Pune, and the airport authority will make necessary efforts for the same.
MP Bapat said that the Civil Aviation Ministry has always cooperated with the development of Pune Airport.
Chavan suggested starting a cargo facility for cargo transportation.

New multi-level parking will solve the problem of parking at Pune airport. The five-storey Aeromall, built at a cost of Rs 120 crores, has parking facilities for around 1,000 four-wheelers and two-wheelers. There will be a lounge and a food court. Apart from this, displays showing the arrival and departure times and status of the aircraft have been installed on all floors of the parking buildings.
Passengers can pay for parking through Fastag, Credit Cards, and Mobile Apps. Also, through the ‘Find My Car’ technology facility, it will be possible to know on which floor your car is parked.
Facilities like lift, foot over bridges and automatic escalators along with an eco-friendly golf cart (car) have been arranged for the elderly to travel between the airport and the parking lot. These facilities will be free of cost.
A special restroom has been set up for the drivers coming from outside. They will have accommodation there. Airport officials informed that this parking will be open for 24 hours for passengers and other citizens.
