Pune: Angry Rickshaw Driver Breaks A Youth’s Teeth After Colliding With His Vehicle

Pune, November 23, 2020: An angry rickshaw driver allegedly knocked out a youth’s front teeth their vehicles collided.
The accused has been identified as Tohib Sheikh, a resident of Lohegaon and the victim has been identified as Sumit Shelkande (21) resident of Dhanori. An FIR has been lodged by Shelkhande at the Vishrantwadi police station.
According to police, Sheikh’s rickshaw hit Shelkande and he tripped off from his two-wheeler on Dhanori Lohgaon road. When Shelkande asked the rickshaw puller to drive the vehicle properly, angered by this, Sheikh threw a stone at him breaking his teeth. Police sub-inspector Lahu Satpute is probing the matter.
