Pune: Anjali Damania Accuses Parth Pawar of Attempting to Take Possession of Land Using ‘Bouncers’; Demands Ajit Pawar’s Resignation
Pune, 19th November 2025: A fresh political storm has erupted in Maharashtra after social activist Anjali Damania accused Parth Pawar, son of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, of attempting to forcibly seize land with the help of “bouncers” and police support. Calling the matter “deeply disturbing,” Damania has demanded that Ajit Pawar step down from the post of Deputy Chief Minister and as Pune’s Guardian Minister until an impartial probe is completed.
Allegations Against Amadea Enterprises
In a series of social media posts, Damania claimed that Amadea Enterprises, a company linked to Parth Pawar, attempted to take control of a property barely a month after allegedly acquiring rights to it.
“This was not just a transaction on paper. The company tried to take physical possession by sending security guards resembling bouncers and sought help from the police to enter the premises,” Damania alleged.
She also circulated portions of a Mundhwa Police Station diary entry, saying it proves that attempts were indeed made to take possession of the land.
Details from the Police Station Diary
According to the excerpt shared by Damania, Mundhwa Police received a call on June 16, 2025, at 4:28 pm from Advocate Trupti Thakur. Thakur allegedly complained that security personnel associated with Amadea Enterprises were being stopped from entering the Botanical Garden area and requested police assistance.
A police team led by PSI Munde responded to the call. Upon reaching the spot, they found Botanical Garden in-charge Balasaheb Kadam (57), staff member Mahesh Pujari, and four guards from Safe Security Services already present. The guards reportedly stated that they had been assigned duties there by Umesh More.
However, the Botanical Garden authorities informed police that the land was in their possession and belonged to them, disputing the claim that outsiders had any right to access the property.
Police Advise Civil Proceedings
The police noted in their report that any dispute regarding possession should be resolved through the Revenue Department or a civil court, and that no party could take possession without proper legal authority. Both groups were instructed to maintain peace, and the matter was escalated to senior officers.
The diary entry was formally documented for official reference.
Damania Demands Accountability
Calling the incident “alarming,” Damania reiterated her demand that Ajit Pawar temporarily resign to allow a transparent investigation. She argued that such allegations against his son require the highest level of scrutiny and neutrality.
