Pune: APS Dighi Celebrates Leadership and Excellence
Vishrantwadi, 5th August 2025: The Investiture and Felicitation Ceremony of Army Public School, Dighi was held on 2nd August 2025 at the CIMT Hall with great zeal and enthusiasm. The solemn occasion marked the recognition of young leaders and achievers of the institution, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, faculty, parents, and students.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Chairman, followed by the traditional Lamp Lighting accompanied by Saraswati Vandana (dance and song), which invoked an aura of knowledge and positivity.
The highlight of the event was the gracious presence of the Chief Guests – Brigadier Paramjit Singh Jyoti, Vishisht Seva Medal, Commandant, BEG & Centre, Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Chairperson AWWA. They were warmly welcomed and introduced to the gathering, setting a dignified tone for the proceedings.
A motivational dance performance by the students added vibrancy to the occasion. This was followed by the Investiture Ceremony, wherein the main office bearers—the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains, and other key members took part in the March Past and were ceremoniously invested with badges of responsibility by the esteemed Chief Guests. It was a moment of pride and recognition for the young leaders.
The dignitaries then joined the student leaders for a group photograph, capturing the spirit of leadership and responsibility. The program proceeded with the felicitation of young APS Dighi innovators and RD Parade student – Shivanjali Chauhan, student of class IX, who had brought laurels through their innovation and participation at national platforms.
Academic excellence was also recognized as toppers were felicitated. Toppers from class X and class XII – Science, Commerce and Humanities, were felicitated followed by the subject-wise toppers. Teachers were also felicitated for their dedication and contributions to the institution’s success.
The Chairman then delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing discipline, perseverance, and the values of leadership. His words resonated deeply with the young students and educators alike.
The Principal, Kavita Kadam delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guests, dignitaries, parents, teachers, and students for their presence and contribution to the success of the program.
The event concluded with refreshments and informal interactions among students, teachers, parents, and the distinguished guests, leaving behind memories of encouragement and motivation.
The Investiture and Felicitation Ceremony thus not only celebrated achievements but also inspired the students to take up responsibilities with sincerity and excel in every field of life.
