The event celebrated the unwavering bond between the Indian Army and its veteran community, with the magazine serving as a beacon of gratitude and support for the country’s ex-servicemen and their families.

Speaking at the unveiling, General Dwivedi said, “The Indian Army remains committed to its ethos of ‘Taking Care of Our Own.’ The 10th edition of SAMMAAN reflects our dedication to supporting our veterans and their families, who are an integral part of the Army fraternity.”

The milestone edition highlights major initiatives by the Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), including Project NAMAN, the AI-powered Chatbot SAMBANDH, and VSK+ (Veteran Support Kiosk).
