Pune: Army Jawan Booked For Filming Woman Relative And Blackmailing For Physical Relations
Sinhgad Road, 2nd December 2023: In a disturbing incident spanning from November 2016 to 2023 in Vadgaon Budruk and Narhe, an Army Jawan has been accused of filming a woman relative in secret while she bathed.
The 35-year-old accused, currently posted with an Engineer Regiment in Bhopal, allegedly used the footage to blackmail and coerce the victim into engaging in unwanted physical relations.
Based on a complaint from the woman, the Sinhagad Road Police (under Pune City Police) have registered a case against the accused. He warned the victim that any disclosure of the incidents would result in him revealing the compromising videos to both her family and the villagers, thereby tarnishing her reputation.
Police are further investigating the case.
