PUNE: ARMY RECRUITMENT EXAMINATION POSTPONED

Pune, April, 15, 2020: HQ Recruiting Zone, Southern Command, Pune notification: Post the conduct of Recruitment Drive (with effect from 03 Feb to 14 Feb 2020) at Beed District, a Combined Entrance Examination was scheduled for the eligible candidates on 26 April 2020.

“In view of the prevailing conditions due to threat of COVID 19, it has been postponed till further orders. No admit cards for the exam are issued to any candidate and the same will be issued once new orders on the subject are received from the Army HQ.

Candidates are required to monitor their respective email ID which is registered with Join Indian Army Website during the time of initial registration and do not fall in trap of any confusion, rumours or touts”, Army stated in a press release.

 The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi yesterday announced the extension of lockdown till 3rd May, 2020. The earlier 21 day lockdown ended on the 14th of April 2020. Addressing the Nation in combating the spread of the corona virus, PM said the extension of lockdown was decided keeping in mind suggestions from many states, experts and the people. He requested people to continue maintaining vigil and to adhere to social distancing during this lockdown.
