Pune, 12th May 2026: Pune-based internationally acclaimed Royal Icing artist Prachi Dhabal Deb has been invited to conduct a special heritage-inspired Royal Icing lecture and demonstration session at The Nehru Centre, High Commission of India in London.

Known for transforming traditional Royal Icing into a medium of cultural storytelling, Prachi’s work draws inspiration from Indian textiles, architecture, jewellery traditions, and regional heritage art forms. Over the years, she has carved a unique identity by blending the historic British art of Royal Icing with Indian cultural aesthetics.

Her session at The Nehru Centre will explore the intersection of edible art, craftsmanship, and heritage, showcasing how Royal Icing can evolve beyond cakes into a form of artistic and cultural expression.

Prachi Dhabal Deb is also the first Indian Royal Icing artist to be associated as an Associate Artist with the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, University of Oxford. She has represented India through her edible artistry on several national and international platforms.

The London showcase marks another significant milestone in her journey of taking Indian-inspired edible art to global cultural spaces.
