Pune: Bapusaheb Pathare Pledges to Solve Water and Traffic Issues in Dhanori and Porwal Road
Dhanori, 10th November 2024: Bapusaheb Pathare, the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) candidate from Vadgaonsheri constituency, has vowed to resolve the longstanding water and traffic issues in the Dhanori and Porwal Road areas. During his padayatra on Sunday, Pathare received an overwhelming response from local residents as he marched through several neighborhoods, including Dhanori Bhairavnath Mandir, Budh Vihar, Chaudhary Nagar, Munjaba Vasti, and Dhaneshwar School.
Accompanied by political office bearers of the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA), activists, and a large number of local voters, the padayatra kicked off with the sound of trumpets and chants in praise of senior leader Sharad Pawar. Women in the community offered their blessings to Pathare, while he took the opportunity to interact with young people and seek the blessings of elders.
Pathare has been conducting extensive padayatras across Vadgaonsheri constituency, engaging with voters on a personal level and building strong connections throughout the constituency. Known for his rapport with the electorate, he is confident in his chances of victory in the upcoming elections.
While addressing voters, Pathare emphasized his commitment to resolving the backlog of development in the constituency, particularly in Dhanori. “All pending issues will be addressed, and the area will be made tanker-free,” he assured. Pathare also promised to install streetlights along Porwal Road and expedite the stalled construction of the road, which connects Lohgaon and Dhanori. This, he said, would alleviate traffic congestion at the Porwal Road junction and improve the overall quality of life for residents in the area.
Pathare’s efforts to address key local concerns, such as water shortages and infrastructure improvements, have resonated with voters, boosting his campaign momentum as election day approaches.
