Pune: Bella Casa Society Flats Damaged In Intense Blasting At VTP Construction Site

Sus, 19th April 2022: Many residents of Bella Casa society in Sus have reported damages to glasses in their flats as well as vehicles due to intense blasting at the adjacent VTP construction site

After repeated complaints, police and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) officials have rushed to the site of VTP Seirra, a luxurious residential project.

Vaishali Patkar, a resident of the society, told PunekarNews.in, “My SUV is damaged. Nearby societies are also affected. All flat glasses were shaking like hell. It has been going for the last one year but now serious blasting is being done. It goes on till late night.”

Another resident from Jacinda building added glasses in many flats broke down today around 4.30 pm.

Officials from the Hinjawadi police station under Pimpri Chinchwad police who are at the site and residential buildings said that they are assessing the damages for any further action.

PMC Assistant Commissioner Khalate, who visited the spot, told PunekarNews.in that the site falls under PMRDA jurisdiction and they will take any action.
