Pimpri Chinchwad, 19th February 2025: Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge has demanded that all police station operations under Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate (PCPC) be transferred to the Civil & Criminal Court, Pimpri (Nehru Nagar). MLA Landge submitted a letter to Chief Minister and Home Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, requesting the transfer of work from Hinjawadi, Ravet, Dighi, Dehu Road, Bhosari and Wakad Police Stations to the newly established Nehru Nagar Court.

The Nehru Nagar court, recently relocated to a new well-equipped building in front of Annasaheb Magar Stadium, currently has ten judges appointed, with two additional civil judges (junior division) and magistrates (first class court) to be appointed soon. Previously, judicial matters in Pimpri-Chinchwad were handled by the same court operational in Morwadi.

MLA Landge argued that the current system, where cases from Hinjawadi, Dehu Road, Bhosari, and Wakad Police Stations are processed in District & Session Court Pune (Shivajinagar), Cantonment Court, Khadki, and Civil & Criminal Court, Vadgaon Maval, leads to a significant waste of time and money for citizens and lawyers. He emphasized that transferring these operations to the Nehru Nagar court would save citizens’ time and money while making the judicial process more convenient.
