Pune: Bike Rider Dies In Accident In Bibvewadi Area; Case Filed Against Bike Rider Who Ran Away After Accident
Bibvewadi, 7th November 2022: An incident took place in the Bibvewadi area where a speeding two-wheeler hit another two-wheeler, killing the driver. A case has been registered against the bike rider who escaped after the accident.
The deceased bike rider has been identified as Mohit Srihari Palashikar (37), a resident of Priyadarshini Chal, Bibvewadi. Palashikar’s wife Poonam has filed a complaint at Bibvewadi police station in this regard.
Mohit, his wife Poonam and their son had left the Bibvewadi area on a two-wheeler around 11.00 pm. Mohit was hit by a speeding bike near the Bharatjyoti bus stop. After hitting Mohit’s bike, the bike rider ran away.
Mohit, who was seriously injured, was rushed to the hospital and reportedly died during treatment. A case has been registered against the biker and he is being searched.
Assistant Police Inspector Kiran Deshmukh is investigating the case further.
