Pune: Billabong High International School, Amanora, Hosts Inspiring 2nd Edition of LitFest 2024-25, Celebrating Creativity, Culture, and Intellectual Curiosity

Pune, 16th December 2024: Billabong High International School, Amanora, an award-winning institution known for its state-of-the-art infrastructure and innovative educational approach, has successfully hosted the 2nd Edition of the Lit-Fest 2024-25, in a glorious celebration of creativity, culture, and intellectual curiosity. The lit-fest offered students, parents, and residents of Pune a glimpse into the world of literature, poetry, drama, comedy, tragedy, theatre, and prose. The event was thoughtfully curated, with industry stalwarts gracing the stage and enlightening the attendees with their insights.

The festival kicked off a mesmerizing rendition of the flute by Mr. Prathamesh, a young flutist. An interactive session led Ms. Gayatri Chandrasekaran, the Editor-In-Chief of the beloved Tinkle Magazine followed, where the students of Billabong High International School, Amanora eagerly asked thoughtful questions to the Chief Guest. Insightful sessions by doyens of the industry such as the author Prashant Pinge, music producer and composer Nikita Kulkarni, and author Dr. Shraddha Sahi took the audience into the world of literature and sparked a curiosity and love for reading among the students.

The fest also featured a variety of food-stalls set up by our students wherein they honed their entrepreneurial skills. It saw a variety of events such as a “Harry Potter Wand-making session”, quizzes for the curious, fiery debates, open mics bursting with creativity, and a student band to close the event and herald in Christmas.
