Undri, 26th March 2025: The Bishop’s Co-Ed School, Undri, has issued a stern warning to parents regarding the misuse of social media by students from Classes VI to XII. The school has observed that several students are using their parents’ Google IDs to create social media accounts, particularly on Instagram, and are posting inappropriate content, including reels with abusive language.

In an official notice, Principal Julian Luke urged parents to immediately review their children’s mobile devices and social media activities. “We have noticed a disturbing trend where underage students are engaging in social media activities that violate both legal and ethical standards. Some of these posts contain disrespectful content about the school and its staff, which is unacceptable,” he stated.

The school has directed parents to delete any inappropriate accounts found and take strict action at home. The notice also emphasized that underage students engaging in social media activities is illegal and could have serious consequences.

“If any student is found posting harmful or disrespectful content, strict disciplinary action will be taken, including suspension or expulsion,” Principal Luke warned. “We expect full cooperation from parents to maintain a safe and respectful online environment for all.”
