Pune: Block On Mumbai-Pune Expressway For Installation Of Gantries
Lonavala, 15th October 2023: The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced that a scheduled installation of Highway Traffic Management System (HTMS) Gantries will take place on the Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway, specifically on the Pune-bound section. The installation work will be carried out at Km 40/100 to Km 40/900 near Adoshi.
To facilitate this important safety enhancement, traffic towards Pune on this section of the expressway will be temporarily closed from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on October 16, 2023. During this period, commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and consider alternate routes.
Upon the successful completion of the installation work, normal traffic flow towards Pune will be resumed. The MSRDC is committed to ensuring the safety and efficiency of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, and the installation of HTMS Gantries is a significant step in achieving this goal.
