Pune: BPCL, IOC, OIL Enter Semis at 43rd PSPB Inter-Unit Lawn Tennis Tournament

Pune, 27th November 2024: Hosts Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), and Oil India Limited (OIL) advanced to the semifinals in the Veterans and Men’s Team events at the 43rd PSPB Inter-Unit Lawn Tennis Tournament. The tournament, organized by Bharat Petroleum, is being held at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.

In the Veterans’ Team quarterfinals, BPCL registered a convincing 2-0 win over GAIL, while OIL edged out NRL 2-1 in a closely contested match.
In the Men’s Team event, OIL defeated EIL 2-0, and Davis Cuppers Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan powered IOC to a 2-0 victory over HPCL.

The tournament was inaugurated by India’s first Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. Other dignitaries present included Deepak Jain, GM Sports of Bharat Petroleum; Lalit Watts, Advisor of PSPB; and Raj Kumar Dubey, Director HR, BPCL.
