Bus Catches Fire on Mumbai-Bangalore Highway Near Narhe

Narhe, 18th August 2025: A major accident was averted when a passenger bus caught fire on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway near Swaminarayan Mandir, Narhe Road, around 2 am on Monday.

According to officials, all passengers managed to get out of the bus in time, preventing any injuries or casualties. Fire brigade teams from Pune Municipal Corporation and PMRDA rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police said further investigation is underway.
