Pune Cantonment Board To Ask Maharashtra Government For Implementing Its Welfare Schemes In Cantt Area

Camp, January 18, 2021: The Pune cantonment board (PCB) will urge the Maharashtra state government that they should implement welfare policies in the cantonment area also. The proposal made by the board has received support from all members.

In a recent board meeting at PCB, the proposal was presented by chief executive officer Amit Kumar. It demands various welfare policies of the state government to be implemented in Pune cantonment like Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojna, Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Pension Yojna, a one-stop centre for the women to be demanded from women and child development department.

The proposal was supported by all the board members and will be sent to the state government soon. It will beneficial to the people once it got acceptance by the state, said board officials.
