Pune: Case Against Owner And Partners Of Namo Park At Uruli Kanchan; 35 Investors Defrauded Of Crores Of Rupees
Loni Kalbhor, 23rd December 2022: It has come to light that the plot owners and partners of Namo Park have defrauded 35 investors of crores of rupees on the pretext of building and giving houses in Plot No 42 and 43 at Urali Kanchan.
A case has been registered in this matter at Loni Kalbhor Police Station under Pune city police for offences under IPC sections 406, 420, 120 (b). Meanwhile, the customers who signed the contract have issued a public notice in the newspapers and requested citizens not to do any business related to this place.
The FIR has been registered against Rupesh Ravindrakumar Dhiwar (31), a resident of Ganganagar, Hadapsar, Rohit Gulab Tupe (29), a resident of Uruli Kanchan, Haridas Dhanraj Bhansali (53), a resident of Urli Kanchan and late Prateek Balasaheb Kalange. Nitin Hanumant (43) Rahujade, a resident of Ganesh Khind Road has filed a complaint in this matter.
Complainant Nitin Rahujade met the accused at the office of Matoshree Developers and Consultants in Kunjirwadi between September 19, 2021, to March 17, 2022. Rahujade said that Namo Park offers a house with the construction of 1010 sq ft in plot numbers 42 and 43 at Uruli Kanchan on 1500 sq ft of land. A price of Rs 45 lakh was fixed for the same. Rs 40.83 lakh is accepted from him through RTGS and other means from time to time.
But, he was not allowed to build the house in this place nor was his borrowed money returned. Haridas Bhansali and Prateek Kalange and their partners Rohit Tupe, and Rupesh Dhiwar colluded with each other and hatched a conspiracy. The said money was embezzled for their financial gain. Also, lakhs of rupees were extorted from 35 other people. The figure of this fraud is likely to go into crores of rupees. Further investigation is being conducted by Loni Kalbhor police.
