Pune, 24th October 2021: A case has been registered against builder Sushil Ghanshyam Agarwal and his acquaintance for deceiving Agarwal’s relative for Rs six crore.

The complaint was lodged by Balbir Agarwal (48), a resident of Parshuram Kuti, Prabhat road. Balbir is a relative of builder Sushil.

According to Deccan Gymkhana police station, Balbir invested money in various construction projects. In 2017, Sushil and his acquaintance Alnesh Somji and other partners assured Balbir that if he invested money in their company Gagan Buildscapes LLP’s projects they would return him a double amount in five years.

Therefore Balbir invested Rs 6.90 crore in their project. The builder paid the return amount by interest till September 2019, after that they stopped paying the amount and refused to return the money.

In October 2019, Sushil said to Balbir that he is not able to return the money and therefore he is offering him 32 flats in the  ‘Gagan Cascades’ project in the Pisoli area. The project was under construction and it was claimed to be completed by December 2020.

However, the project has yet not been completed and Balbir also got to know that Sushil has already taken a loan on 14 flats out of those 32 flats. Therefore he complained about this to the Pune city police.
