Pune: Case Registered Against Three For Threatening Builder And For Demanding Rs 30 Lakh Along With Two BHK Flat

Kondhwa, 11th April 2023: A case has been registered at Kondhwa Police Station against three individuals who allegedly demanded Rs 30 lakhs in cash and a two BHK apartment to continue construction work.

The accused have been identified as Sameer Pathan, Shafi Pathan, and Sajid, who are all residents of Pargenagar, Kondhwa Khurd. Mustafa Imamsahab Sheikh (30), a resident of Lane No. 9, Shivnerinagar, Kondhwa Khurd, filed a complaint against them. The incident took place between January 2022 and 9th April 2023.

According to the complaint, Sheikh was constructing a joint venture on four out of seven gunthas at Pokle Mala in Kondhwa Khurd, when the accused demanded Rs 30 lakhs in cash to continue the construction. After a compromise was reached, the accused demanded Rs 15 lakhs in cash from Shafi Pathan and a two BHK apartment in the name of a mosque, and Rs 10 lakhs from Sameer Pathan.

The accused allegedly threatened Sheikh by halting the construction, stating that they were not afraid of anyone when he resisted their demands. A case has been registered against the accused, and Kondhwa police are conducting further investigations.
