Pune: CEO of Talegaon Dabhade Municipal Council Accused of Drunk Driving, Causing Accident

Talegaon Dabhade, 1st June 2024: A shocking case has emerged in Talegaon Dabhade where the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Talegaon Dabhade Municipal Council, NK Patil, allegedly collided with a car while under the influence. The incident occurred near Kaka Halwai in Talegaon Dabhade at around 5 PM today.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 2) Bapu Bangar provided details, stating that Patil was driving his car on Talegaon Railway Station road when, at around 5 PM, he hit another car near Kaka Halwai Talegaon.
It is suspected to be a case of drunk driving. Senior Police Inspector Pradeep Rayannavar stated that a case is currently being registered at Talegaon Dabhade Police Station.
DCP Bangar also mentioned that fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Regarding the suspicion of drinking and driving, he stated that all possibilities are being explored and investigated accordingly.
