Pune City : 137 New Covid Cases , 221 Discharged Today
Pune, November 16, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 221 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 137 new patients were detected while 04 people died today. Today swab samples of 1032 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 164,879 out of which 156,361 have been cured while 4389 have died. There are still 4129 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 377 critical patients out of which 245 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 88,45,127 across the country. Out of this, 82,49,579 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 130,070 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 480,719 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
