Pune City: 1548 New COVID Cases, 41 Deaths Today

Pune, September 27, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1599 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1548 new patients were detected while 41 people died today. Today swab samples of 5614 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 142,136 out of which 121,176 have been cured while 3373 have died. There are still 17,587 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 940 critical patients out of which 520 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,992,532 across the country. Out of this, 4,941,627 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 94,503 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 956,402 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
