Pune City: 1695 New COVID Cases, 28 Deaths Reported Today
Pune, September 01, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1419 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1695 new patients were detected while 28 people died today. Today swab samples of 6753 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 97,068 out of which 79,489 have been cured while 2332 have died. There are still 15,247 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 890 critical patients out of which 529 are on ventilator support.
