Pune City: 206 New Covid Cases, 181 Discharged Today

Pune, November 23 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 181 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 206 new patients were detected while 9 people died today. Today swab samples of 2196 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 167,188 out of which 157,836 have been cured while 4435 have died. There are still 4917 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 422 critical patients out of which 255 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 9,139,865 across the country. Out of this, 85,62,641 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 133,738 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 443,486 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
