Pune City: 229 New Covid Cases, 421 Discharged Today
Pune, December 31, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 421 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 229 new patients were detected while 5 people died today. Today swab samples of 3819 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 178,769 out of which 170,821 have been cured while 4631 have died. There are still 3317 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 246 critical patients out of which 152 are on ventilator support.
