Pune City: 416 New Covid Cases, 218 Discharged Today
Pune, November 24, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 218 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city. Also, 416 new patients were detected while five people died today. Today swab samples of 3053 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 167,604 out of which 158,054 have been cured while 4440 have died. There are still 5110 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 419 critical patients out of which 252 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 91,77,840 across the country. Out of this, 86,04,955 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 13,4218 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 4,38,667 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
