Pune City: 42 New Deaths Today, Check Ward Wise Positive Cases

Pune, October 01, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1170 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1036 new patients were detected while 42 people died today. Today swab samples of 5260 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 146,327 out of which 126,430 have been cured while 3528 have died. There are still 16,369 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 913 critical patients out of which 512 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,312,584 across the country. Out of this, 5,273,201 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 98,678 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 940,705 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
