Pune City : 428 New Covid Cases , 758 Discharged Today

Pune, October 21, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 758 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 428 new patients were detected while 23 people died today. Today swab samples of 3581 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 158,387 out of which 146,094 have been cured while 4045 have died. There are still 8248 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 750 critical patients out of which 412 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,651,107 across the country. Out of this, 67,95,103 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 115,914 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 740,090 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
