Pune: CMS Falcon scores big win over golden feather FC at the 21st Guru Tegh Bahadur gold cup football tournament

Pune, January 8, 2023 : Joel Arikson fired three goals, one in the first half and two in t real e seconds he steered CMs Falcon to an impressive 8-1 win over Golden feathers FC in the first round match of the 21st Guru Tegh Bahadur gold cup football tournament at the COEP ground in Shivajinagar here on Sunday. Earlier golden feathers had taken the early lead when Rakesh Kadam fired into the post on a pass from Omkar Naidu in the 9th minute. Arikson equalised for Falcon with his 11th minute goal when Rohil Bhokre set him up in the first match of the day

Abhishek Bochore’s 18th minute goal on a pass from Abdullah Khan put Falcon ahead. Vicky Rajput broke through the midfield and found the gap to set up Kevin Ghadge, who scored in the 34th minute to put Falcon 3-1 up. It was again the combination of Arikson and Bhokre that gave Falcon more leewaywith 4-1 lead. Vicky Rajput made it 5’1for Falconon a pass from Aman Sen.

It was now time for Aman Sen to to his name on the scoresheet when he scored on a pas from Kevin Ghadge in the 54th minute. Arikson-Bhokrepair again put their names on the scoresheet as Falcon went 6-1up in the 57th minute.Falcons’sManiish thakre scored the final goal of the match when Rajput set him up in the 58th minute.
