Pune: College Professor Dies By Suicide After 'That' Post On Social Media

Pune, 14th July 2021: A professor working in a college in Karvenagar died by suicide after his last post on social media. The incident took place in Bhiwari village near Saswad.

The deceased has been identified as Praful Dadaji Meshram (45), a resident of Katraj.

Meshram was a professor at a reputed educational institution in Karvenagar. He posted a text on social media on Tuesday (July 13) saying ‘Bye bye Depression, Good Bye Guddi’.

According to police, he jumped into a well in Bhiwari village near Saswad. A farmer saw him and informed police. Meshram’s clothes, mobile, wallet and two-wheeler keys were found on the bank of the well. Saswad police visited the spot and informed his relatives about the incident.

An accidental death (AD) case has been registered at Saswad police station in this regard.
