Pune: Crime Branch Unit 2 Recovers Six Stolen Phones

Pune, 24 March 2021: The officials from Crime Branch Unit-2 of Pune city police have nabbed a thief and recovered six stolen phones from his possession.

Acting on a tip-off received by Police Naik Mohsin Shaikh, a team arrested Narayana Satpadi (33) of Guntakal in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, on March 20 near Mangala Talkies in Shivajinagar.
Police recovered six phones worth Rs 63,000. He used to steal the phones of passengers in PMPML buses and then sold them in Andhra Pradesh.

The police action was taken under the guidance of DCP (Crime) Srinivas Ghadge, ACP Surendra Deshmukh and Inspector Mahendra Jagtap. The team included API Prakash More, Vaishali Bhosale and police personnel Aslam Pathan, Mohsin Sheikh, Uttam Taru, Chetan Gore and Samir Patel.
