Pune: Cylinder Catches Fire at Hotel in Kondhwa Budruk, Two Injured

Pune, 24th September 2026: Five workers were injured after a fire broke out following an LPG cylinder leak in the kitchen of Hotel Gokul, located opposite Salve Garden in Kondhwa Budruk, on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred at around 7:15 pm. The fire brigade was called to the spot and firefighters brought the blaze under control. There were no fatalities in the incident.
All five injured persons are hotel workers and were shifted to Namo Hospital for treatment.
Their injuries have been reported as follows:
Atik Khan (34): Sustained burns to both hands and legs, covering around 30 per cent of the body.
Sanjay Kumar Chaurasia (19): Sustained minor burns to his face, covering around 10 per cent.
Shankar Sardar (26): Sustained minor burns to his hands and face, covering around 10 per cent.
Ranjit Roy (22): Sustained a fracture near the wrist of his right hand.
Chhaya Laxman Kamble (55): Sustained minor injuries.
The exact circumstances leading to the cylinder leak and subsequent fire are being investigated. Further inquiry is underway.
