Pune: ‘Dastkari Haat’ Silk Weaves Textile Exhibition from May 30

Pune, 27th May 2025: The ‘Dastkari Haat Silk Weaves Expo’, showcasing handcrafted garments, sarees, shawls, and carpets made by skilled artisans from 20 states across India, will be held from May 30 to June 8, 2025, at Sonal Hall (Erandwane, Karve Road), Pune. The exhibition will be open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM. This special event will feature exquisite varieties of Banarasi silk, linen, cotton, and festive traditional attire. Sarees, dress materials, suits, kurtas, shawls, and various types of handmade garments will be on display and available for purchase. Visitors will find a fusion of traditional and modern textile techniques from different states under one roof. Over 70 stalls showcasing silk and cotton textiles sourced from across India will be part of the exhibition.
This exhibition offers Puneites not just an opportunity for shopping, but also a unique cultural experience, reflecting the beauty of traditional textiles and the craftsmanship of Indian artisans. The vibrant colors, designs, and techniques from various regions will make this textile showcase more than just a market—it will be a celebration of artistry.
