Pune: Body Of Zomato Delivery Man Found, Was Missing Since Monday Night Rain
Pune, 21st October 2022: Today (October 21), Kondhwa Budruk Fire Station received a call at around 8.21 am that a dead body was found in a drain near Archana Paradise, Kondhwa, Mohammed Wadi.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Kumar Yadav, 31, a native of Bihar, currently residing in the Ghorpadi area of Pune.
Sanjay and his brother Munna Yadav, both started working for Zomato a few months back. When Sanjay left for work around 3 pm on October 17, he did not return which led to his family lodge a missing complaint with the police.
At around 7:30 am, Munna got a call from the police that his brother’s body was found.
After reaching the spot, jawans noticed a dead body in the stream. The jawans then took the dead body out of the water and handed it over to the police. Police are now conducting further investigation.
Sanjay went on his two-wheeler to deliver food but he was unable to deliver the food. On that day, there was heavy rain so it is suspected that his body might have got washed away in the rain water. The two-wheeler has not been found yet.
Driver Yogesh Jagtap and fireman Tejas Kharivele, Abhijit Thalkar and helpers Akshay Chavan, Abhishek Kasbe, and Satish Argade carried out the operation.
