Pune: Deadline For Class XI Online Admissions Extended, Over 26,000 Students Admitted So Far

Pune, 25th June 2023: The deadline for the first round of admissions in the online admission process for Class XI has been extended until Monday (June 26), according to officials. As of Sunday evening, a total of 26,549 students have secured admission under the Centralized Admission (CAP) and reserved seats.

The online admission process for Class XI is currently underway in junior colleges across Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. This year, a total of 88,413 seats are available for central admission in 324 colleges, while 24,977 seats are designated for quota admission. The first round merit list was announced on June 21, with a total of 42,239 students being admitted. Among them, 23,351 students were allocated their first-choice colleges.

Initially, students were given a deadline of June 24 to visit the college and confirm their admissions. However, in response to the requests from students, parents, and certain junior colleges to ensure a smooth completion of the first round admission process, the deadline has been extended until 6 pm on Monday (June 26), as stated on the Class XI admission website.
