Pune: Deputy Municipal Commissioners To Get Notices For Failing To Submit Structural Audit Reports Of Hoardings In City
Pune 14th July 2023: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s top officials are going tough against their own colleagues for failing to complete the task in given time. According to reports, the deputy municipal commissioners of the civic body will be served notices for not submitting a structural audit report of legal hoardings placed in the city.
The civic body had issued an order to complete structural audits of the hoardings and also submit details about the number of hoardings available in the city. The concerned officials were given a specific time to submit the reports and they were warned of action for failing to complete it in time.
However, despite this many of them failed to complete the structural audit or submit report in given time. Some of them who submitted the details had incomplete information. The concerned officials were issued show cause notices in the past and they were granted more time to submit the report on structural audits of the hoardings.
However, since the reports have not been submitted even after granting more time the PMC will now issue notices to the deputy municipal commissioners asking them as to why their promotions and appraisals should not be kept on hold, said officials.
