Pune: DIAT Conducts Online Training And Certification Course On Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning

Pune, 28 July 2021: A nationwide 12 weeks Online Training and Certification Course (OTCC) in Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning(AI & ML)was conducted by DIAT in collaboration with DRDO. Interested graduate level or equivalent students wrote an online entrance test and selected once joined the course. Around 861 candidates have been successfully completed the training programme since the last two batches.

The online training was aimed to support the “Skill India Mission” and to train the professionals with building the human skill-sets in using, deploying cyber security tools and techniques. The course covered advanced topics such as forensic and incident response, malware analysis, reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, exploit mitigation and penetration test along with the tools to train on various techniques for Cyber Security.

During these courses, the expert lectures were organized by eminent faculties and scientists from DIAT, DRDO, Industry and from the renowned Universities. The evaluation of the courses were conducted through continuously online module-wise tests based on theory and runtime challenges-based practical to finalise the results for award the certificates.

After completion of these courses, the feedback received from the participants are very positive and appreciable. The DIAT team had personally interacted with the toppers of the courses to share their experiences and for incorporating their valuable suggestions for the future courses.

Vice Chancellor DIAT praised a 12th standard student named Mr. Vishal Juneja who was also permitted to join the Cyber Security Course as an exceptional case, in view of his excellent performance in the entrance exam. The boy not only acquired 74% in the entrance exam but also secured 6thposition in his batch.

The Vice Chancellor informed that the 3rd batch for conducting OTCC in Cyber security, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI&ML) will be commence from the 2ndweek of Sept 2021.

On this occasion, Dr G Satheesh Reddy, the Chairman, DRDO also congratulated the participants and organizing team for the successfully conducting the training programme which supports to the “Skill India Mission”.
