Pune District Collector’s Facebook Account Hacked, Fraudster Demands Money

Pune, 29th January 2022: Pune District Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh today informed that his Facebook account has been hacked. He appealed to people not to respond to the demand for money from the hacker.
“DEAR ALL , IT SEEMS SOMEONE HAS HACKED MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT.
KIND REQUEST NOT TO RESPOND. THANK YOU”, Deshmukh posted on Facebook.
A cyber expert said, “Facebook account cloning is a simple scam. A cloned account is a copy that uses your profile photo and other public information to trick your friends into giving up their information.”
